The night starts at the purple tent!
Fans, team supporters and people from all over the world have found the best place in town to burn off some of the adrenaline that comes around the competition at the Bryggen Arena.
The first day of the official race party took place at Bergen’s UNESCO World Heritage site Bryggen, where a tent with purple lights, fancy drinks and an international DJ entertained everyone through the night.
One of the eye catchers of the night was the De Bergenske, a Citroën HY who was used in 1947 to sell groceries in Paris and now has been restored into a food truck that offers a wide portfolio of drinks.
Celebrating the race
“We are all about celebrating the race, partying in style and having fun”, comments one of the guests, who later was dancing at the rhythm of Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran.
The DJ, pleasing locals and visitors, mixed international beats with some of the Top 40 Norwegian songs, keeping the atmosphere pumped for people inside and out the tent.
The official race party will repeat again on Wednesday 20th, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of September at the Bryggen Arena.
