Do you wonder how it feels like to ride an official UCI Road World Championship course? Thursday, September 21 is your opportunity!
This is the only day during the 2017 UCI Road World Championships the spectators and fans have the chance to experience the UCI World Championships as a rider!
The event is without timing and suits everyone who wants to try the course.
Departure will be from Grieghallen and, as for the professional riders, the finish at Festplassen. Among other highlights, the circuit passes through the toughest climb of the Championships - Salmon Hill. With its distance of 2 km and an average climb of 6.5 %, it will be one of the circuit’s most critical points.
You can start between 3:30 and 4:30 pm from Grieghallen. During the event, the circuit will be completely closed for road traffic until 6:00 pm, which means the circuit is open for participants until 5:50 pm.
The awarding ceremony will be at Torgalmenningen. At the same location, there will be opportunities to take photographs at the official UCI World Championships podium.
Bring your own bike, old or new, light or heavy, and let's make a fantastic Race To Celebrate together!
